Graduation
I received my PhD Title in Computer Science from ETH Zurich in July 2009 and currently work in the industry.
Research Interests
XML Information Retrieval, XML Storage and Transformation, Web Services and Web Service frameworks.
Research Projects
- Enterprise Application Search. Indexing AJAX Applications. (My Current PhD Research Topic)
The project aims to enhance the quality of results from current search engines, by taking into account the meaningful syntax in the indexed data. We currently index AJAX applications, which current web search engines cannot do.
- XML Database (XML Persistence Layer)
A database for XML data, which adapts to the working pattern of the application (read/update trade-off).
- XL: A Platform for Web Services
XL is a development model, a programming language and an application server for Web Services. In particular, an XML storage system is at the base of the data persistence in this environment.
- (AJAX Search) Link to a sample AJAX Application current search engines cannot index correctly: AJAXNews (External). My PhD research solves this.
