- The first class will meet on October 3, 2007. All participants must come to the first class to get their project assignments.
- The list of project topics are posted here.
- The final project demos will take place some time in the second half of January 2008. The exact date will be determined in December.
Course Description
The purpose of this laboratory course is to practically
explore modern techniques to build large-scale distributed information
systems. Participants will work in groups of three or more students, and
develop projects in several phases. The course is offered in both Fall and Spring semesters, and is co-taught by Prof. Donald Kossmann, Prof. Moira Norrie, and Prof. Nesime Tatbul.
