Information Systems Laboratory
Content
The purpose of this course is to practically explore modern techniques to build large-scale distributed information systems. Participants work in groups of about three students and develop projects in several phases. In this semester, students can choose between two projects:
a.) A Web crawler and small Web search engine (alla Google)
b.) A P2P file-sharing system based on a distributed hash table (alla KaZaa)
